Vietnam holds a special place in my heart. My parents grew up in Saigon and I grew up hearing stories about their childhood. Years later, I made a trip with my family and even though I was familiar with the customs and stories, being there was still a huge culture shock. The hustle and bustle, the food, the atmosphere...everything felt like I transported into a different world. I am grateful to have marked my second trip to VN recently, and this time around, I was able to bond more with my extended family and visited other regions of Vietnam.
